Wooster Oilers
Learn to Play Hockey

Alice Noble Ice Arena is proud to offer this great program for the beginner hockey player. The Learn-to-Play Hockey Program will teach players the basic skill set necessary to play the game of ice hockey. Kids will learn in a safe and fun environment from experienced hockey coaches. The ANIA Learn-to-Play Hockey Program will provide your child the experience necessary to play on a competitive team.

3 on 3

The Wooster Youth Hockey Association's 3 on 3 Spring Hockey League is an excellent opportunity for players to improve and enhance their individual puck skills all while having fun in a fast-paced half-ice game. Half ice games allow each player to experience the whole game in a smaller, fast-paced setting. Players touch the puck more often and get more scoring chances than traditional games. The tighter space will put an emphasis on developing individual skills such as passing, stick handling, and dekes which will force players to keep their heads up and improve their on-ice decision making and reflexes. These critical skills will transfer back to full play ice next season.

Stick & Puck

Stick & Puck is like an “open gym” for hockey players.  Stick & Puck is a public session that provides a perfect opportunity for hockey players of all ages to focus on individual skill development. Full equipment is required for players under 18. Players 18 and over must wear a helmet but we encourage full equipment as well. Private instruction may take place, full ice games are not permitted.

$14.00 per session.

Drop In Hockey

Drop-In Hockey is a “pick-up game”.  Once all the players are on the ice they divide into 2 teams and play a full ice pick-up game.

Thursday evenings in July, 7:00-8:10 PM.  Open to players high school age and older.  Space is limited to 18 skaters plus 2 goalies.  Cost is $14/skater, goalies are FREE but must call 330-345-8686 to reserve a spot in advance.
