In 2005, The Wooster Hockey and Skating Club became a member of the Cleveland Suburban Hockey League (CSHL). The Wooster Blades Hockey teams play as part of the CSHL. This is the highest level of organized hockey in this area for all levels and age groups. We play teams from surrounding communities ranging from Columbus to Mentor and all points in between. Pre-season starts the last week of September, with practices starting the first week of September. Preseason results/ standings are used to determine regular season team placement within different levels of play ranging from B2, B1, A3, A2, A1, AA, with AA being the highest level of play within the CSHL. Regular season play starts some time in late November. Regular season play ends around mid-February, with the last two weekends in February designated as playoff weekends.
