The Noble Kids After School Program is designed to give children a structured, fun atmosphere following the school day. When students arrive at the Arena they will start off wth a nutritious snack. During the 4pm to 5pm hour is our designated time for skating or the other enrichment activities we offer. We will combine skating lessons with ice games and free-skate time. Between the hours of 5 and 6pm is our designated time for homework, tutoring or quiet reading. If a student completes their homework before 5:30pm, we ask him/her to take part in our literacy program, by reading by themself or in small groups.
After 5:30pm children may go on the computer, play board games or color.

On Monday's we will be offering:

  • Art classes through Wayne Center for the Arts or
  • Wacky Science through Wayne County Public Library, or
  • Creative Writing in conjunction with the College of Wooster, or
  • Crafts with a master craftsman from Pat Catans, or
  • cooking classes and our washboard band.

These enrichment activites will be determined by the grade of the student.

Tuesday thru Thursday we will be skating. We separate out our skating time into lessons, games on the ice and free skate time. Students will have the opportunity to show off their skating skills in our Holiday and Spring Show.
