The Alice Noble Ice Arena and the American Collegiate Hockey Association (ACHA) is pleased to announce the ACHA
Div II Southeast Regional Tournament will be held Friday, February 27th and Saturday February 28th at the
Alice Noble Ice Arena .
Eight of the top ranked teams from the Southeast Region will face-off to determine which two teams represent the
Southeast Region at the ACHA DIV II National Tournament.
The Southeast Region includes tournament mainstays Florida Gulf Coast, Miami, Ohio and Indiana University
as well as local teams Bowling Green and Toledo.
This first class event will be held at the Alice Noble Ice Arena.
The ANIA was a top choice for the ACHA based on the hospitality of the city and facility for the current college events held
at the ANIA, including the Battle of Ohio and the Thanksgiving Classic held the past four years.
"The ACHA is very pleased with the enthusiasm and support by the facility, staff and community of Wooster for this event.
The location, venue and amenities, including hotels and restaurants is a benefit to the ACHA and the participating teams" Stated DIV II Commissioner Mike Radakovich.
In addition to the excitement of the great event the city can look forward to a solid economic impact as the teams, families
friends and supporters flock to Wooster for the weekend. " We hope this is the first of many ACHA events here at the ANIA." stated Gary Baldwin, Arena Manager. "We hope to build on this to generate additional ACHA events to impact the facillity and the City of Wooster."
